National Volunteers Week. 3 - 9th June 2024.
National Volunteers Week is an annual event which takes place on 3-9 June. It celebrates the contribution made by millions of volunteers across the UK.
As you may already know, the Council runs a promotional campaign on this every year to thank our amazing volunteers and to showcase their fantastic efforts.
As part of National Volunteer Week we will be saying a “ Something for Everyone" we are celebrating the fantastic contribution that our volunteers make across Telford and Wrekin.
During that week we will be high lighting some of the amazing work individuals and groups have done to make Telford and Wrekin a great place to live.
Whether it be caring for someone, looking after animals, caring for the environment, stewarding an event, being a school governor or supporting a local community group, each day volunteers make a positive difference to our borough.
So if you or your group would like to tell what you are doing to thank your volunteers, then we would live to hear from. Contact get.involved@telford.gov.uk
