We have a fantastic opportunity for you to become a Digital Champion and empower individuals to navigate the digital world with confidence by supporting either the Get Connected sessions or weekly drop in support sessions held at Southwater Library.

Many people are eager to embrace the digital age but may require patience, guidance and support. As a Digital Champion, you will play a crucial role in bridging the digital divide and fostering a sense of empowerment among our residents.
As a Digital Champion, you will provide one-to-one assistance, work in small groups and guide individuals in acquiring basic digital skills.
Your empathetic nature and ability to connect with others will create a positive learning environment, helping people embrace technology in their everyday lives.
Make a difference: Your support will enhance the lives of people, enabling them to connect with loved ones, access valuable online resources, and be part of the digital world.
Personal growth: Develop your communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills while fostering meaningful relationships with older people in your community.
Collaboration and networking: Work closely with a team of dedicated volunteers, staff members, and community partners who share your passion for supporting people.
Flexibility: Choose your preferred commitment, either a weekly drop in or the Get Connected course which is 6 X 2 hour sessions
