The Circle of One befriending project offers social support for residents in Donnington and surrounding areas who are isolated, feel lonely, want this to change and wish to receive befriending support.
What you will do:
Tasks include:
Provide medium/long term befriending support with a clear focus on connecting individuals with their community.
Visit the client regularly at an agreed time, date and location.
Build a reliable, trusting, honest and enabling relationship.
Support individuals to build their confidence, self-esteem and extend their social networks by connecting with their community e.g. attending a community activity, engaging in a course or spending time outdoors.
Time commitment:
30 minutes up to 3 hours as and when needed by mutual agreement.
Location:
Within Donnington and surrounding areas.

Compulsory training will be provided.
